As we’ve continued to build our reputation for providing custom material handling equipment specifically engineered to handle heavy (2,000+ lbs.) loads, it was inevitable that we would make an impression in the packaging sector. This has involved us in projects in a few different ways.
Packaging Solution COmpanies
Our partnerships with a variety of packaging solutions companies have helped Tuff Automation’s equipment get recognized in some of the most custom and complex packaging systems in the world. These companies use us to provide custom equipment to their end-user. These projects usually entail handling heavy pallet loads that are fed to standalone units like automatic stretchwrappers, pallet loading robot cells, and more.
It is the combination of the integrator's packaging knowledge, mixed with our engineering expertise, that makes for a great partnership that generates top-of-the-line packaging systems.
Providing equipment to end-users
Most manufacturers, regardless of industry, require a packaging sector of their production system. However, these end-users have their own on-staff engineers who design their systems. We work with these end-user engineers to develop a system that best utilizes their knowledge of their process, with our engineering expertise.
Eventually, these engineers become so familiar with our equipment and our capabilities, that revising their packaging systems or making additions to their production becomes seamless. We’ve even had customers revise their systems to accommodate Tuff Automation equipment.
