Ergonomic Lift Assists

In a world where companies strive to perform and produce at a faster rate than ever before, ergonomic lift assists are becoming more and more desired to help labor workers perform active, repetitive, and physically strenuous tasks. These tasks require a lift assist in smaller parts of a production process that wouldn’t bring a positive ROI (return on investment) if heavy-duty equipment or robots were used. However, these tasks are usually too labor-intensive for any one person to perform, therefore, they bring a positive return by preventing injuries to labor workers.

All ergonomic lift assist devices are installed with some type of overhead crane. We provide custom designed lift assist devices that have a wide variety of different types of functions:

Pneumatic Gripper Tools

Pneumatic gripper tools are the most common amongst lift assist designs. The reason for that is the simple and common applications that they are desired to handle, gripping. These devices are pneumatically actuated to grip products that might be awkward to grip or too heavy for an operator to handle. The pneumatic gripper design is a foundational aspect of a lift assist device. This design is usually incorporated with one of the following functions.

Pitch and Rotate

With pneumatic grippers being the most common design, pitch and rotate is the most requested function. This function gives the operator total control of the product. This function is often valuable in applications where the operator is picking the product from one position and has to reorient it to place it in another. The seat frame video you see here is a perfect example of that.
